Cheryl Lynch

Cheryl grew up in Ottawa and has been with the Carling Animal Hospital for almost 25 years. She has happily worked wherever she is needed most in the hospital day to day. Her first dog and forever heart dog, Shelby was responsible for kick starting Cheryl’s want to help all types of pets for people. So she stayed with the hospital learning everything she could. Her most enjoyable workspace is the front office as she loves the day-to-day interaction with the hospital’s clients & patients. Cheryl currently leads the front office team and as well does most of the hiring, training & retention of all team members. She is also a mentor and trainer for the many responsibilities held by the Inventory team member within the hospital as she performed the role herself for over 15 years.

Cheryl has two wonderful black and white sister cats Moo-Moo & Inks that she lovingly calls “the ladies”. She also has a little gerbil that was rescued through the hospital that she spoils just as much as her kitty-cats.

When Cheryl does find some down time, she enjoys spending it with her husband, Kevin, otherwise she can be found doing HIIT workouts, going for a run or just curling up with whatever books she can.
