Dr. Margot Raicek was born and raised in Montreal and studied history and biology for her undergraduate degree. Later, she completed her veterinary studies at Tufts Veterinary School in a joint Master of Public Health program, with a focus on zoonotic disease. Following her studies, Dr. Raicek worked on animal health policy internationally at the World Organization for Animal Health and in the Canadian government before transitioning to clinical medicine. As a veterinarian, she is passionate about wellness and preventative care, with a special interest in infectious disease. She is thrilled to spend her days helping pets lead happier and healthier lives.
In her off hours, Dr. Raicek spends her time tending to her three children and a rambunctious labradoodle. She also loves to stay active through cross country skiing, swimming and strength training.
