Chantal Hierlihy
RVT
Chantal was born and raised in Ottawa. After high school, she started working at Carling Animal Hospital while concurrently completing her education in the registered veterinary technician program at Ridgetown College in 2001. Chantal’s favourite thing about working in veterinary medicine is the excitement of never knowing what the day will bring. In particular, Chantal has a passion for ensuring her patients’ comfort and utilizing her strong clinical skills in the treatment area. She is also integrally involved in training new staff members and implementing new initiatives in the hospital.
Outside of work, Chantal enjoys spending time at the cottage with her husband and two children. She enjoys fishing, being active and has recently taken up winter running. She has a senior rescue dog and one very active and social kitty cat.
