Piper was born in the Ottawa Valley and after moving around as a child, returned again at the beginning of Highschool. While she had applied to University in Equine Science straight out of school, an unfortunate injury derailed this plan. Throughout her childhood her family always pushed her to do what she loved – working with animals, which is why it was no surprise to them when she started working at Carling.
Growing up Piper was never without a pet at home, from Reptiles, Small Mammals, Exotic & wild animals to livestock. She had a variety of pets that give her diverse experience in small and large animals. After work she can be seen behind her camera lenses doing photography, training with Soni, her Quarter Horse or snuggled up with a book and Freya, her American Bulldog.
