Dr. Saye Clement
Dr. Saye Clement is an Ottawa native who graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1993. After spending a few years in St. Catharines, Ontario, she returned to Ottawa and joined Carling Animal Hospital in 1998. She is a firm believer in preventative care for all pets. Her areas of interest include caring for small mammals (she holds current membership in the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV)), as well as managing the health of senior pets, palliative care and behaviour.
Outside of the practice, she has started lecturing about veterinary practice management and sits as an advisor on several veterinary advisory councils. She also volunteers in the local arts community and sits on the Board of Directors for the Thirteen Strings Chamber Orchestra. Home life involves keeping up with her husband and two young adult children, as well as the family pets: Kiefer the Sheltie, and Enzo the Cornsnake.
