Standard Of Care

The life-expectancy and quality of life our pets enjoy continues to benefit from:

• Advances in vaccination against disease
• Blood/Urine testing to assess organ function
• Better nutrition / availability of quality pet foods
• Advances in pain control
• Dental care for pets

We consider it our responsibility to “recommend how pet owners can enhance their pet’s quality of life & life-expectancy”.

To this end, we have established a Standard of Care which we recommend as follows:

• Annual Physical Examination
and Necessary Vaccinations

• Annual Wellness Bloodwork and Urinalysis
to assess organ function

• Annual Dental Cleaning and Polishing
(under general anesthesia with I.V. fluids,
assuming normal blood values)

• Once-monthly Parasite Prevention on a year-round basis

These preventive health measures help identify and treat underlying causes of disease and tooth loss at an early stage, thereby extending life-expectancy and quality of life.
