Situated in Ottawa, Ontario, we are a locally owned and operated Animal Hospital accredited by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, the licensing body for animal hospitals and veterinarians in Ontario. Services provided by our Veterinary Clinic range from Preventive Care to Examinations & Vaccinations, Pet Boarding, Dentistry, and Laser Surgery.
History
The Carling Animal Hospital of today has evolved from the day our doors first opened 23 years ago on Carling Avenue.
Dr. Janet Biggar established Carling Animal Hospital on January 1st, 1989 in premises measuring a mere 1,000 square feet. Supported by one staff member, it soon became evident that a larger facility was in order and, in the spring of 1991, we relocated to a 5,000 square foot location.
Today, our Ottawa vet hospital is co-owned by Dr. Keith Johnson and Dr. Saye Clement. Occupying 7,577 square feet of space on a single level (no stairs), with free parking and easy access from the Queensway (highway 417) via the Woodroffe Avenue exit, we are situated on major Carling Avenue Bus Routes.
